Melanin-concentrating hormone receptors

Overview

Melanin-concentrating hormone (MCH) receptors are activated by an endogenous nonadecameric cyclic peptide identical in humans and rats (DFDMLRCMLGRVYRPCWQV; mammalian MCH) generated from a precursor (PMCH, P20382), which also produces neuropeptide EI and neuropeptide GE.
